Dr. Rivadeneira is Professor in Translational Skeletal Genomics. During the past 10 years, he has made numerous contributions to the understanding of bone health and musculoskeletal diseases, applying high throughput genomic technologies. The research of his group is primarily done within the Generation R and the Rotterdam Study He holds long-standing research collaborations with researchers in the bone and genetics field across more than 20 countries, from different methodological, fundamental, and clinical expertise fields. Altogether, his publications in the form of original research invited reviews and multiple book chapters are testimony and recognition of his unconditional dedication to epidemiologic and genomic skeletal research.
