Based on a previous publication of WG2 (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34925226) on bone
phenotyping, this hybrid conference will focus on muscular phenotyping approaches in
human and animal settings. All WG2 members and YRI (Young Researcher and Innovators)
of the network are invited to participate. During the meeting, there will be four lectures on
fish, mouse and human muscular phenotyping by Erika Kague, UK; Cheryl Ackert-Bicknell,
USA; Faidra Laskou, UK; and Jörn Rittweger, Germany. In addition, there will be space for
discussions and interaction about future approaches in musculoskeletal phenotyping, which
will be summarized in an upcoming second publication of working group 2.
